Important information for new and existing patients:
Welcome to the Kinderarztpraxis am Oskar!
We are delighted that you have found your way to us. Please take note of the following organisational information and follow the instructions. Thank you for your cooperation, which enables us to organise the best possible care for your children.
Your Praxisteam
Book an appointment for new patients
New patients can now also book appointments for vaccinations and check-ups online via Doctolib at short notice, subject to availability. Please note that this does not automatically mean that we will be able to accept your child as a regular patient at our practice.
Please ensure that your child is of the required age at the time of the check-up – incorrectly booked appointments will be cancelled by us.
In the case of newborn babies: the U2, U3 and U4 check-ups cannot be booked online. We kindly ask parents who would like to book an appointment for these check-ups to contact us by email.

We work for you all day, every day. Being available by telephone is extremely time-consuming for us and therefore not always possible. In order to make our work more efficient and to spare you the disappointment of an unanswered call, please contact us by email if you have any questions. This enables us to process your enquiry in an orderly manner.

If you need to visit our practice urgently, please come during the emergency consultation hours listed under consultation hours. We ask existing patients to book an appointment via Doctolib at short notice, subject to availability. New patients can come without an appointment. Please understand that there may be waiting times even for appointments booked urgently. Please refrain from attending emergency appointments outside of the emergency consultation hours.

Unfortunately, preventive care appointments outside of the specified times cannot be billed through your health insurance. These can only be paid for privately. Please book your appointment in good time or contact us. When planning your appointment, please note that we currently require a lead time of approximately 2 months to schedule a preventive care appointment.

Among other things, this app allows us to provide you with specific information about upcoming vaccinations, preventive care and current information such as changes to opening hours, as well as offering you video consultations.

We are happy to issue a sick note (for children) via video. To arrange an appointment, please contact us by email, stating your child's name and date of birth as well as your telephone number. All you need to do this is our practice app (see above). It is also possible to have the sick note sent by post at the health insurance company's expense. The video consultation service is only available to patients known to the practice.
Meningococcal B vaccination
Since the beginning of 2024, the StIKo (Ständige Impfkommission) has recommended the meningococcal B vaccination as a standard vaccination for all children up to their fifth birthday. Since June 2025 this is possible via your insurrance company without prepayment.
School certificates
For children abesent from school for longer than three days, it is not a legal requirement to provide a sicknote from a doctor. Notes of absense from school can instead be issued by a child's legal guardian.
